Up Next Queue
The Up Next queue shows what will play after the current track. You can reorder it, jump to any track, or add music to it from anywhere in the library.
Opening Up Next
Long-press the ⏭ Next button on the Now Playing screen for 400 ms.

The Up Next modal slides up from the bottom.
What’s in the Queue
The queue is built automatically when you:
- Tap a track in the All Tracks view — the full library loads in order from that track
- Tap an album — the album’s tracks load in track number order
- Open an artist and tap a song — all of that artist’s tracks load shuffled, starting at the tapped song
- Tap Shuffle All on an artist — all tracks shuffled
- Use “Set Up Next” from any long-press context menu — those tracks are inserted immediately after the current track
The Up Next queue persists across sessions and survives the app being backgrounded.
Managing the Queue
Inside the Up Next modal:
- Tap any track to jump to it immediately
- Drag the handle on the right of any row to reorder
Adding to Up Next
From anywhere in the library, swipe left on a track row or long-press a card to find Set Up Next. This inserts the track (or album, or artist shuffle) immediately after the currently playing track — without disrupting what’s currently playing.
This is the fastest way to say “play this next” without rebuilding the whole queue.
