Track Info Panel
The Track Info Panel sits below the separator line on the Now Playing screen. Scroll down to reveal it. It shows everything Homecrate knows about the current track, plus tools to enrich that information.
Revealing the Panel
Scroll down from any point on the Now Playing screen. The thin separator line (with a drag handle) marks the top of the panel.

A series of label/value rows showing:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|

These fields only appear when they have a value — the panel doesn’t show empty rows.
Lyrics
If the track has lyrics, they appear below the metadata rows:
- Synced Lyrics — scrollable, with the active line highlighted and auto-scroll enabled. See Karaoke / Synced Lyrics.
- Plain Lyrics — static scrollable text block.
Shazam Match Badge
If the track has been identified via Shazam, a purple “Identified via Shazam” badge appears with a sparkle icon.

AI & Enrichment Tools
Below the metadata, two tool cards appear when applicable:
Identify Track (Shazam)
For any track with an audio file path, a “Identify Track” card lets you match the track against Shazam’s database to fetch verified metadata. See Identify a Track.
Analyze Key & Mood
A “Analyze Key & Mood” card runs Tonic audio analysis on the current file to detect musical key, scale, mood, BPM, and diatonic chord palette. See Analyze Key & Mood.
Selecting and Copying Values
All value text in the metadata rows is selectable — long-press any value to copy it. This is useful for copying an ISRC or album title for use elsewhere.
